Projects on my mind

A brain dump of the projects currently on my mind
I always seem to have more projects on the go than time to finish them, but at least I can find solace knowing this is completely normal, at least among the like-minded amateur radio buddies I chat with from time to time.
I'm focusing on my advanced amateur radio license and helping my S.O. get moved into my house, however I also want to look at the ARRL VHF contest this weekend which has me thinking about building a 2m J-Pole. Sure, simple enough to do and probably only an hour or so to make something useable for the weekend, but even that is probably more than I have time for.
Practically, I think the antenna is a fun project for sometime after the big move on Sunday, then I can start moving towards having a proper "shack" setup and better reception on the local nets.
After those 2 projects, I like the idea of trying my hand at building my own power supply, the current chapter on power supply design has me much less intimidated by the idea, even if I'm only building a 5v supply for charging phones and such.
Oh, and I shouldn't forget I've got my QRPLabs kit radio to finish!
Enough rambling for now, lets summarize:
- Packing & moving
- Advanced Study
- 2m/70cm J-Pole
- QRPLabs QMX radio
- Write advanced exam at some point around here maybe?
- Build a power supply
Okay, now that seems like a reasonable plan of attack. Good enough for now at least.
